Register for the EFP
You can only start using the EFP’s services after registration.
This user registration guide provides step-by-step instructions for registering with the EFP. This includes creating your account, verifying your identity, and registering a device for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Creating an EFP account
When you access an EFP service for the first time, you will be redirected to the user registration page.

Select Sign in with MyAccessID to continue.

Select Add another institution and search for your institution.

Complete your institution's usual login process. If you cannot find your organisation, it may not be available to use with MyAccessID. In this case, continue by selecting Login with Guest IdP for MyAccessID.
Login with your Guest IdP account if you already have one. If you do not have a Guest IdP account you can create one by following the instructions here. -
Once you have logged in successfully, you can complete your registration on MyAccessID.
The fields marked with a red asterisk * are required.

Fill in the requested details as
- Name - Already pre-filled from your Profile. Unmodifiable.
- Surname - Already pre-filled from your Profile. Unmodifiable.
- Email - Already pre-filled from your Profile. Unmodifiable.
- Type of Organization - Select your organisation’s type from the drop down menu.
- Country of Residence - Select your country of residence from the drop down menu.
- Organization Display Name - Enter the name of your Organisation.
- Country of Registration - Select your country of registration from the drop down menu.
- EuroHPC Platform Policy Agreement - Select this box to confirm that you have reviewed and accepted the platform’s policy agreement.
- MyAccessID Acceptable Use Policy - Select this box to confirm that you have reviewed and accepted MyAccessID's policy.

When you have completed the form, select Submit. Your registration will be confirmed.

Select Continue to proceed with registering a device for multi-factor authentication.
Register a device for MFA
You are required to register and use an MFA authenticator when accessing EFP services. Please complete the MFA setup as a part of the user registration process.
Use the following steps to register a new device.

Select Register.
- Enter a name for the device so you can recognise it later.
- Follow the instructions to set up your authenticator device.

Perform the verification with your MFA device when prompted.

Once the MFA factor is successfully registered, store the recovery code securely.

You will then be asked to verify your identity by enrolling a valid passport using the ReadID Ready mobile application.
Verify your identity
Use the following steps to verify your identity.

Open the ReadID Ready mobile application on your mobile device.

Using the app, scan the QR code displayed and follow the instructions.

Once your passport has been verified, you will receive a message like the one below.
Your EFP registration is complete. You should be redirected back to the EFP service you originally attempted to access.
