Getting access to EFP

Access to the EuroHPC Federation Platform is managed by the Authentication and Authorisation (AAI) component.

Registration

Before using the EuroHPC Federation Platform (EFP), you must register an account.

Guest IdP

If you don't have an account with an academic institution connected to eduGAIN, you will also need to register for the Guest IdP.

If you're not sure, check with your organisation's helpdesk first.

Identity verification via passport

When registering for EFP, your identity will need to be verified using your passport.

Once you have registered, you can log in to access EFP services (see below).

To use EFP services, you should access the MyEFP portal, and log in to EFP.

To log in to EuroHPC systems directly from your terminal using Secure Shell (SSH) via EFP, you will need to configure your system and obtain SSH certificates from the SSH Certification Authority (CA).

Alternatively, you can use the EFP interactive web portal instead.
