Introduction to the EuroHPC Federation Platform (EFP)

In this webinar, we will introduce the EuroHPC Federated Platform (EFP).
A high-level overview will be presented, covering the most important features and capabilities of the platform.
The various components of the platform will be briefly covered, which are:
- MyEFP web interface - central entry point to EuroHPC systems;
- EFP AAI - the Authentication & Authorization Infrastructure component (based on MyAccessID);
- EFP Allocations - federated resource allocation, monitoring, and management (based on Waldur);
- EFP Federated Software Stack (based on EESSI);
- EFP Interactive - interactive web-based access (based on Open OnDemand);
- EFP Workflows - federated management of workflows (based on LEXIS);
- EFP Helpdesk;
In addition, current status and the roadmap of upcoming changes will be shared.

In this webinar, we will explain how to get started with using the EuroHPC Federation Platform (EFP).
First, we will cover the procedure to register an account for EFP, which involves MyAccessID, identity vetting, and setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
In addition, we will explain how a EuroHPC allocation (project) is onboarded into EFP, how a Principal Investigator (PI) can manage a project, and how project members can get access to an allocation through EFP.
